2004 Affordable Housing Design Competition

LBB has been awarded Second Place in the 2004 Affordable Housing Design Competition by the American Institute of Building Design, Florida Society and Habitat for Humanity of Lake County.

The American Institute of Building Design (AIBD) is a nonprofit professional organization dedicated to the development, recognition and enhancement of the profession of building design.

Habitat for Humanity of Lake County is part of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. The organization seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action by working in partnership with families in need and individual and corporate volunteers. The houses are sold without profit and zero interest mortgages. Mortgage payments go into a revolving fund that is used to build more homes.
